Avenues, a community organization, is seeking a new Registered Service Manager to lead a support service in Glebe House, Rainham. The manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of support workers and providing support to 12 adults with various needs such as learning disabilities, mental health issues, and autism. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, a desire to help others, and the ability to deliver high-quality person-centered support. We are seeking a new Registered Service Manager to lead this support service in Glebe House, Rainham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to make a tangible impact on people’s lives, supporting a good team to provide good support.
Your will be managing a service supporting 12 adults with; learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, epilepsy, diabetes, bipolar disorder, OCD, and behaviours that challenge. You will be working with and leading a large team of Support Workers as well as one Assistant Service Managers to support you in managing this service 24/7.
It is very important for the new Registered Service Manager to have a fun, positive and can do attitude!

The ideal Service Manager looks like this:
- Have a genuine desire to help, develop and maintain high quality service provision for the people we support in this service appropriate to their assessed needs.
- Work with the Senior Operations Manager and be the Registered Manager with CQC to deliver safe, high quality services for the people supported.
- Has the skills and commitment to coaching and developing a team, with an emphasis on Practice Leadership with to develop and align practice.
- Understands the balance between keeping the person safe and positive risk taking.
- Deliver best practice based on Positive Behavioural Support principles, adopting Active Support and delivering high quality person centered support.
- Level 5 diploma or equivalent experience.
- Hold a valid driving license and have access to own vehicle.
