HGV Class 1 & 2 Driver

A logistics company in Rugby is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for full-time, ongoing roles from Monday to Friday. The positions involve trunking work for Class 1 drivers and multidrop work for Class 2 drivers, with handballing required occasionally. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months' experience, valid licences, and strong attention to detail. The pay is £18.00 per hour, with shifts starting between 5 AM and 8 AM. *The Role:*
We’re recruiting reliable *HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers *to support a well-established logistics operation in Rugby. This is a full-time, ongoing role involving trunking work between depots with handball involved at times while Class 1 work , and multidrop work for Class 2 with handball involved at times . Drivers with at least 12 months of Class 1 or 2 experience are welcome. Shifts are available Monday to Friday, offering year-round work.
Drivers must be flexible and agree to work either Class 1 or 2 when is required .

*Pay: *£18.00 per hour – AM shift
*Start Time:* 0500AM – 08AM
*Shift Pattern:* Monday – Friday , AM shift
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Trunking between depots for a major national client
* Planning delivery routes effectively
* Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Maintaining accurate driving logs and delivery records
* Adhering to road safety and company compliance
*What We’re Looking For:*
* Minimum 12 months’ experience driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle
* Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph card
* Strong attention to detail and knowledge of vehicle maintenance
* Excellent communication and time management skills
