Class 1 Trunker

Backline Avonmouth is seeking a Class 1 trunker driver for a temp to perm position, working from Wednesday to Friday with a fixed start time of 1330hrs. The role involves a single trunk route from Avonmouth to Coventry and back, offering a pay rate of £16.50 per hour. Candidates must hold a Class 1 licence for at least one year, have a maximum of six points for minor offences, and possess relevant driving experience. Additional benefits include a company pension after three months and opportunities for further HGV work on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Backline Avonmouth  are currently recruiting for a Class 1 trunker driver for Wednesday to Friday every week. Start time is fixed at 1330hrs for a single trunk from Avonmouth to Coventry and then return. *This is a temp to perm role, if you are interested please apply asap as this is one of the easiest Class 1 driver roles we have available!*

About You:
* You will have held your Class 1 licence for a minimum of 1 year
* Maximum 6 points for minor offences
* Experience essential
* A good knowledge and experience of driving Class 1 trucks
* Completing all relevant paperwork for deliveries and/or collections as required
* Ensuring daily vehicle checks and defect reports are completed
* Liaising with your line manager to communicate any issues relevant to the work you have been allocated
* Adhering to all relevant road traffic and working time regulations
* Maintaining accurate driving hours, working time and rest period/break records using the appropriate method (digital tachograph)
