Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Tiler to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.

For the successful Tiler, our client is offering:

2. Up to £16.25 per hour/ £33,800 per annum DOE
3. Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.00 pm.
4. Permanent position
5. 40 hours per week
6. Productivity Bonus
7. 22 days paid Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
8. Overtime opportunities
9. Annual Christmas shutdown period – 2 weeks
10. Contributory pension scheme

The Role – Tiler;

2. Measuring and cutting various tiles
3. Installing tiles in modular bathroom and ensuite PODS
4. Using basic hand tools.
5. Using wet tile cutter
6. Mixing adhesives
7. Ensuring PODS are to the correct tolerances meeting standards and specifications.
8. Strong manual dexterity
9. Contributing to continuous improvement activities.
10. Experience of working to tight deadlines and changing priorities
11. The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings/SOP’s.

What our client is looking for in a Tiler.

2. Minimum of 2 years tiling experience- ESSENTIAL
3. Knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies- ESSENTIAL
4. Basic mechanical understanding – ESSENTIAL
5. Ability to read and interpret drawings – ESSENTIAL.
