63Job Description:A Local Authority is looking for multiple Qualified Social Workers to join several different teams. These are all Permanent placements that offer a great amount of support with progression opportunities. They have ambitious improvement and transformation plans to create optimum conditions within their service which their staff can make a real difference and improve outcomes for children.
Available teams: CP, D&A, Locality, Children in Care, Disabled Children and Young People (CWD)

Responsibilities of you as a Social Worker:
- Ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people.
- Provide support and protection for children and young people in need and at risk.
- To manage and prioritise the workload, carry out duties using accountable professional judgement.
- To undertake complex and high-risk cases or arrange complex or high value packages of care.
- To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of work, using professional and managerial supervision and support to improve practice.
Requirements of you as the Social Worker:
- Social Work England registration
- A recognised qualification in Social Work
- Completed Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
- A full UK driving licence
- DBS clearance
- Authority to work in the UK
Location: Southwest (M5 corridor)
Salary scale: £35,000 – £44,000 dependent on experience
