Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 am – 4:00 pm
Friday: 07:00 am – 2:45 pm
Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate CNC Router woodworking machinery.
– Select and prepare wood materials, ensuring they meet project requirements.
– Inspect finished components for defects, accuracy, and quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
– Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
– Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Wood Machinist with expertise in operating woodworking machinery.
– Familiarity with woodworking tools and equipment; experience with CNC routers, edgebanders, or beam saws is a bonus.
– Strong knowledge of wood materials and their properties.
– Ability to read and interpret woodworking plans and drawings.
– Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality woodwork.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
– Understanding of safety procedures and adherence to safety regulations.
– Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
