The Role: Junior Sous Chef

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join our pre-opening kitchen team. Working closely with the Senior Sous Chef and Executive Chef, youll support the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and help deliver exceptional food with style and consistency. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their culinary career within an exciting lifestyle hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with brand standards.

  • Support the Senior Sous Chef in leading and supervising the kitchen team.

  • Assist in developing and refining seasonal menus with creativity and precision.

  • Train and mentor junior team members to maintain consistent quality.

  • Ensure full compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety standards.

  • Help manage stock levels and maintain kitchen organisation and cleanliness.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or strong Senior CDP in a quality hotel or restaurant.

  • Confident working in a fast-paced kitchen with high culinary standards.

  • Passionate about fresh, seasonal food and modern techniques.

  • A strong team player with leadership potential and great attention to detail.

  • Flexible, organised, and ready to grow in a pre-opening environment.
