HGV 1 Driver

Staffing Match is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for immediate starts at distribution depots in Erith and Dartford, in partnership with a major supermarket. Candidates need only six months of experience and must be flexible to work at either location. The role offers both part-time and full-time shifts, with paid breaks and competitive pay rates. Drivers will complete 1-4 deliveries, with responsibilities including paperwork completion. Applicants must hold an HGV 1 C+E licence and meet specific driving criteria. HGV Class 1 Drivers – Erith
Immediate Starts | Paid Breaks | Flexible Shifts
Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client, one of the big 4 Supermarkets at their distribution depots in Erith and Dartford.
We’re looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team-only 6 months experience needed! We are looking for flexible drivers who can work out of either depot if required. Both part time and full time shifts available.
Some deliveries to smaller stores may require driving an HGV 2 vehicle.
Shifts and pay rates as an HGV Class 1 Driver:
Average paid shifts are 11-15 hours per day. All breaks are paid!!
Pay for any work between 14:00 – 22:00
Basic £17.75 P/H
Overtime £24.21 P/H – after 45 hours
Pay between 22:00 – 06:00
Basic £19.93
Overtime £26.39 P/H – after 45 hours
Pay between 06:00 – 14:00
Basic £17.00 P/H
Overtime £23.46 P/H – after 45 hours
Shift patterns available:
FULL TIME / PART TIME / AD HOC
Your responsibilities as a Class 1
Duties include completing 1-4 deliveries to stores as required.
Deliveries can be either caged or palletised.
Completing paperwork.
Class 1 Driver – About you:
HGV 1 C+E licence. Digital tacho & DQC card
Minimum 6 months experience
No more than 6 points. No DR, DD, CD, IN10’s
Be able to pass a theory and practical driving assessment
