30Job Description:Ranked as Number One in the UK, this role involves overseeing the finance function for a dynamic £80 million UK manufacturing business, with additional responsibilities encompassing the management of two European subsidiaries.

A market leading manufacturing business growing organically and acquisitively, part of an international group. With multiple strategies for growth on the horizon and a newly implemented ERP system still in it’s embedding and optimisation stage, there is abundant opportunity to add value.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a broad role which oversees a finance team of 10, with dotted lines also from European subsidiaries. Responsibilities span substantial commercial input and stakeholder partnering, cost control, team leadership and development, oversight of reporting processes to group, budgeting and forecasting, and management of relationships (banks, auditors, etc.).
The Person
- Fully qualified (ACMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Manufacturing (or similarly product/process led industry – FMCG, Retail, etc) sector expertise
- Experience of leading and mentoring a busy but capable finance team
- Strong relationship building skills, able to challenge constructively, influence and drive excellent commercial decision-making
- Excellent technical reporting knowledge base
- Collaborative, influential and pragmatic leadership style
This is an office based position in North Birmingham, close to M6/M42 links and with plentiful on-site parking.
Base salary to £100k plus Bonus, Healthcare, Life cover, Electric Car scheme, Pension.
