Job Description:
AsHead Chef, you will be at the forefront of our kitchen operations, shaping theculinarydirection of the establishment. Your role involvesleading the kitchen team,maintaininghigh standardsof food quality,monitoringKPIsand ensuringoperationalefficiency.
This is a pivotal leadership position for someone whothrivesin a fast-paced environment and is committed to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team through positive and constructive methods.
- Achieving consistent GP results.
- Accurate Labour forecast to ensure that targets are achieved.
- Maintain a high customer satisfaction score.
- Ensure the Prep Team & Goods receiverare following management instructions.
- Precise ordering to ensure full menu availability and minimum wastage.
- Ensureaccuratedaily due diligence.
- Looking after staff wellbeing,working towards highstaff retention.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff tomaintainhigh food standards.
- Pioneer a positive work environment and fostering teamwork.
Requirements:
- Previousexperience as aHeadChefor similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for quality and creativity.
- Leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Completeunderstanding of EBITDA & GP.
- UnderstandingPnLsto make positive cuts,increasing overall profit.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience inorganising and leadinga large kitchen team.
