Vacherin is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join their team at a prestigious law firm in the city. The role, based in SE1 2AU, offers a salary of £30,000 per annum for a 40-hour work week, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Key responsibilities include assisting chefs with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, managing food waste, and storing deliveries. Rate of Pay: £30,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week , 7:00am – 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs by washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients, and preparing basic dishes as needed
- Keep kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitised in line with hygiene standard
- Dispose of food waste and recycling properly, and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Receive, unpack, and store deliveries, checking for quality and expiration dates
- Washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring all equipment and areas are sanitized to maintain a safe working environment
