Quality Controller

CarComm, part of Steer Automotive Group, is seeking a Quality Controller to ensure that commercial vehicle repairs meet high standards of safety and compliance. The role involves conducting quality checks, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and BSI Kitemark standards, and documenting findings for continuous improvement. Candidates should have experience in vehicle repair or quality control, particularly with commercial vehicles, and possess strong technical knowledge and attention to detail. *What Youll Be Doing:*
* Conducting final quality checks on repaired commercial vehicles before customer handover
* Ensuring all work meets *manufacturer specifications* and *BSI Kitemark standards*
* Identifying and rectifying any issues or defects, liaising with technicians as required
* Documenting quality control checks and contributing to continuous improvement
* Supporting a culture of excellence, safety and compliance across the site
*What Were Looking For:*
* Experience in a *vehicle repair or quality control role*, ideally with commercial vehicles
* Strong technical understanding of body, paint, and MET processes
* Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach
* A commitment to *integrity*, with the confidence to challenge when standards arent met
* Familiarity with compliance, health & safety, and industry best practices
