48Job Description:Pertemps are recruiting for a Qualified Bookkeeper.
 
Pertemps are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Qualified Bookkeeper to join our client’s team and contribute to the success of their organisation.
 
Salary: £28k – £30k
 
Permanent, Full-time position.
Monday-Friday Standard Office Hours
 
     Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Handle payroll processing and related tasks
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and best practices.
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Matching purchase invoices
  • Making supplier and subcontractor payments
  • Filing VAT returns
  • Filing CIS returns
  • Processing payroll/ company pensions

 
     Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified bookkeeping certificate
  • Competent in using xero accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
