Spice Tandoori, a quality-driven Indian restaurant located in Wick, Caithness, Scotland, offers authentic Indian-Bangladeshi cuisine. They are currently seeking two Specialist Indian Curry and Tandoori Chefs with a passion for culinary excellence. The positions offer a salary between £31,000 and £39,000, along with benefits such as paid holidays and a pension scheme. Candidates must possess high-level skills in preparing authentic dishes and have previous experience in similar roles. The restaurant operates daily from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and applicants must provide evidence of the right to work in the UK prior to an interview.

Specialist Indian Curry Chef andTandoori Chef (x2).

– Employer :Spice Tandoori

– Location (1):Wick, Caithness, Highland, Scotland.

– Salary :£31,000 to £39,000

– Working hours / days: 35to37.50hourswithin a5 to 6 day in a week.

Duties include preparation of complex Indian Curry and Tandoori dishes, preparing menu, training and supervising junior Chefs, purchasing & dealing with suppliers, stock control, quality checks, health & hygiene compliance and HACCP protocols, monitoring food safety & temperatures, maintaining cleanliness and good order within work areas, care and maintenance of specialist Indian Curry and Tandoori equipment, cost analysis and review, preparing reports and schedules and performing key duties as assigned.

To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: –

Eligibility to live and work in UK

High level skills and mastery in preparation of authentic Curry and Tandoori dishes, seafood dishes, vegetarian dishes, breads and other specialties.

Previous experience in this role is essential. Industry specific academic qualification will be considered as an added experience. We also require that the candidate must have minimum A-level or equivalent academic qualification.
