We are an acting agency working on behalf of a renowned culinary & wine led destination, known for delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes in a beautiful countryside setting. Our client is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Junior Sous Chef to join their talented kitchen brigade.
This is a fantastic role for a rising star in the culinary world whos ready to step up, refine their skills, and work closely with a respected senior team. The position is based in a fairly remote locationperfect for those who enjoy scenic surroundingsbut due to this, a driving license and own transport are strongly recommended.
The Package:
- £30,000 per year salary
- Approx. £300 per month Tronc (flexible, depending on service)
- 40 hours per week, with paid overtime
- 3.5-day working week (when possible) enjoy real work/life balance
- Staff food provided lunch and dinner on working days
- Pension contribution
- Short-term relocation support available assistance with local accommodation to help you settle in (details to be discussed individually)
Your Role as Junior Sous Chef:
- Support the Sous and Head Chef in all areas of kitchen operation
- Help lead daily service with confidence and precision
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality
- Contribute ideas to menu development and seasonal changes
- Ensure hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness are consistently top-tier
- Mentor and support junior chefs, fostering a collaborative kitchen culture
- Step up in the absence of the Sous Chef when needed
