HGV Class 1 & 2 Driver

Turbo Driving is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers to enhance their growing transport and logistics team. Candidates must have a minimum of six months of relevant experience, and successful applicants will undergo assessments prior to starting. Various shift patterns are available, including full-time and part-time options. HGV Class 2 drivers will handle local deliveries, while Class 1 drivers will focus on trunking and trailer swaps. HGV Class 1 Drivers and HGV class 2 drivers
Turbo Driving are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (minimum 6 months experience) and HGV class 2 drivers to join a growing transport and logistics team..
Assessments before commencement of shifts then once passed you will be given an Immediate start.
HGV Class 1 and HGV class 2 driver experience needed (min 6 months class 1 experience)
Various start times available to suit your needs
All shift patterns considered – 4 on 4 off, 5 on 3 off, 5 shifts, 2 shifts, ad hoc and weekend only all available with this contract

Class 2
Days: £14.11
Nights:£15.80
Class 1
Days: £14.60
Nights: £16.06
Full time/part time and any shift pattern that you can work will be considered.
The role:
As an HGV class 2 driver, you will:
self load and self tip
palletised stock
Deliver to other smaller depots known as local delivery units (LDU)
approx. 3-4 drops per shift
use a pump truck and tail lift
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:
Trunk/Trailer swap with goods across regional/national routes
No interaction with the load
Conduct pre- and post-route vehicle checks and record via app
Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
About you:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, and HGV class 2 driver you will have:
A valid UK Category C+E driving license
Up-to-date CPC and Digi-tacho cards
Max 6 points (no CD/IN/TT/DR)
Knowledge of driving regulations and compliance
A professional and customer-focused approach
