92Job Description:General Manger / Sales & Service Manager / Engineering Manager is required to join a global, industry leading manufacturer of high-quality control valves.
The successful General Manger / Sales & Service Manager / Engineering Manager will work remotely, with visits to sites in the Northeast and the South, managing a team of technical sales engineers and service engineers.
The successful General Manger / Sales & Service Manager / Engineering Manager will have experience of working with Valves and experience managing teams around the UK, dealing with critical flow control solutions and services.
Package
Salary £85,000 – £95,000 depending on experience.

General Manger / Sales & Service Manager / Engineering Manager Role
Working remotely, with visits to sites in the Northeast and the South, managing a team of technical sales engineers and service engineers.
Promote, develop and role model health, safety, and environment (HSE) practices within your team and at our Service Centre in the North
Driving high level market sales and growth with a leading manufacturer
Lead and develop a team of 20 sales and services professionals with main locations in the south and north.
Working with industries such as Oil & Gas, Automation, Refining & Chemicals, Renewable Energy & Gases, Mining & Metals, CCUS and Pulp & Paper.
Plan local business strategies to align with business lines and European demands.
Aiding development within the team and support with new recruitment
Positive development with company and the existing team.
General Manger / Sales & Service Manager / Engineering Manager Requirements
Experience as General Manger , Sales & Service Manager , Engineering Manager , Sales Manager , Service Manager , Contracts manager , Operations manager , Senior Project Manager within flow control
experience with working with Valves and experience managing teams around the UK, dealing with critical flow control solutions and services.
Experience in customer facing roles within the flow control industry – preferably working with Valves.
Experience with management – managing managers is advantageous.
An understanding and previous experience with change management and methods on how to drive business growth.
A track record of growth and successful planning, forecasting, and long / short term target setting.
An engineering qualification is advantageous but not essential.
Experience in managing an omnichannel go-to-market set-up including direct sales and channel partners.
Experience working with a multinational business.
Full UK driving license
