143Job Description:Smile, Northwest is recruiting for a Design and Technology Teacher for one of our Secondary Schools, in Wigan, Greater Manchester.

This school is in the heart of Wigan, and they are looking for a Design and Technology Teacher to join them for the remainder of the academic year.

About the role:
- Ability to use a laser cutter and 2D Design.
- Trained in use of band saw and circular saw.
- Ability to use a range of workshop tools and have a working understanding of how they are maintained.
- Organised and able to mark books.
- Ability to prepare materials, components, and equipment for a lesson.
- Can teach Product Design, Graphics and Engineering
- Can deliver Engineering to KS4 (Including Maths based lessons)
About you:
You will have knowledge on the school curriculum and learning stages and previous experience working within a UK school. Beneficial traits for this role include patience, drive, and approachability.
