We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of white and brown goods to local business and residential locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to all road safety regulations. *Responsibilities*
* Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
* Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to scheduled routes.
* Ensure all POD is signed
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs.
* Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring they are secured properly on the wagon.
* Follow all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and conduct on the road.
* Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points.
*Requirements*
* Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
* Held a 7.5t licence for a minimum of 1 year.
* Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, particularly experience in tail lift vehicles.
* Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and road safety practices.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* A positive attitude towards work and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
