93Job Description:SQL Database Administrator – £60k + bonus/benefits
As part of a business transformation project an incredibly successful wholesale company is looking to expand its IT Department with the hiring of a SQL DBA.
This company is replacing its in house – legacy systems with the full Microsoft stack replacing the ERP and CRM systems with Microsoft Dynamics and will be using MS Azure.
Previous experience of using Azure is preferred but not essential so if you are currently stuck on prem in a similar role and looking for the next step in your career this is the opportunity for you.
You will be joining the Infrastructure team as the main SQL DBA where you will be responsible for the continued upkeep of the SQL Server, with Data Confidentiality a key focus of the role.
Other responsibilities including overseeing and preserving the database estate, conducting database tuning and advising along with testing and supporting the development team with Data Migration.
This company is right at the start of the their transformation journey so this is an opportunity to work with latest Microsoft technologies.
The client is based in Kent with hybrid working encouraged, so as well as candidates who live in Kent this could also be suitable for those based in London or Essex.
