An HGV Class 2 Driver position is available in Bury St. Edmunds, with both permanent and temporary roles on offer. The salary is £29,798 annually, with potential earnings of £35,386 for 45 hours per week, including overtime. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 4.30 am to 1.30 pm, with no weekend work required. Candidates must possess a clean Category C driving licence and have previous multi-drop delivery experience, as well as the ability to lift up to 25 kgs. UK’s largest independent paper merchant and looking to recruit a HGV Class 2 Driver at their Bury St. Edmunds branch.
Successful candidates should be able to offer the following;
* Category C driving licence – Clean licence.
* Previous multi drop delivery experience.
* Experience with use of tail lifts.
* Picking and sorting own loads in the warehouse.
* Average 7-10 drops.
* Fork lift licence – not essential but would be desirable (full training provided for preferred candidates, if required).
* Able to undertake manual lifting involving lifting up to 25 kgs.
* Flexible approach to working hours and the ability to work overtime if required.
