Senior Sous Chef

Hakkasan Mayfair is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Sous Chef to enhance their esteemed Kitchen Team. The ideal candidate should possess significant experience in luxury dining, particularly as a Wok Chef, and demonstrate a strong passion for cooking and exceptional service. Key qualities include a positive team-oriented attitude, ability to thrive under pressure, effective communication skills in English and/or Mandarin, and leadership capabilities for mentoring staff. We are in search for an experienced and passionate Senior Sous Chef to join our leading Kitchen Team at Hakkasan Mayfair.

The ideal Senior Sous Chef has:

• Previous relevant experience within luxury restaurants/hotels would be a distinct advantage;
• Extensive experience as a Wok Chef.
• Passion for cooking and exceptional service standards with attention to detail;
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team;
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible;
• Good command of English and/or Mandarin Chinese with the ability to communicate confidently;
• Leadership and delegation skills including the ability to train and mentor a kitchen team;
• Ideally experience with ordering and stock rotation as well as menu development;
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
