We are seeking an exceptional Restaurant Reservations Sales Consultant to join the Maybourne Reservations team.

Maybourne owns and manages Claridge’s, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Emory, The Maybourne Beverly Hills and The Maybourne Riviera.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a Restaurant Reservations Sales Consultant you will be responsible to process reservations received via both verbal and non-verbal communication methods whilst at all times maximising revenue and dealing with the day to day administration of the Reservations Sales Office.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Making reservations across all Food & Beverage outlets for Claridges, The Berkeley and The Connaught to the required standards;
  • To maximise restaurant revenue through cross-selling and up-selling;
  • To maximise restaurant revenue by paying attention to agreed cover restrictions and employing cover maximisation and cross-selling techniques plus product knowledge;
  • To be able to make an individual reservation to the required standard, adhering to Maybourne policies, relating to telephone standards, cancellation policies and written confirmations;
  • Creating renowned memorable experiences for our guests.

Successful candidates for our Restaurant Reservations Sales Consultant opportunity will:

  • Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests’ needs, to create exceptional service experiences that result in lasting memories;
  • Demonstrate genuine dedication to Maybourne and show a commitment to consistent quality in our products and services;
  • Have ideally worked in a similar role within a hotel environment, however, this is not a prerequisite.
  • Be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong customer care skills and ability to work under pressure, with excellent attention to detail;
  • A high standard of personal presentation with a confident, professional and welcoming personality.
