30Job Description:Position: CNC Machinist
Location: Redditch
Salary: £33,000 – £35,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Days (36.5 hours per week)
Employment Type: Permanent
An excellent permanent opportunity awaits an experienced CNC Machinist to join the production department of a well-established manufacturing company based in Redditch.
Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC machines with Milling Machining Centres & FANUC Controls to manufacture components meeting stringent quality standards.
Essential experience with FANUC control and previous operation of FANUC controlled 3-axis milling centres (preferable).
Interpret technical drawings and ensure adherence to technical standards.
Maintain the quality and accuracy of machined products through checks and inspections.
Achieve production targets within specified time standards.
Uphold machine tool set-up by replacing cutting tools and ensuring overall operational efficiency.
Demonstrate flexibility within the machine shop, including proficiency in running various machine types.
Set and operate a majority of machine tools within a cell.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
Familiarity with FANUC control is essential.
Strong understanding of technical drawings.
Commitment to maintaining technical and quality standards.
