Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:
An electrical site supervisor is needed for a 3-year project on the London Underground Network, starting at Tooting Station and moving to other stations in Zone 1. The supervisor will oversee a team of 6 operatives and should have a technical background in electrical or telecoms. The role includes installation of CMS, termination and testing of cabling, and installation and termination of antennas and equipment. The supervisor will work night shifts from 23:30PM to 04:45AM, Sunday to Thursday, with a rate of £235 per shift. Requirements include SSSTS, ECS JIB Electrician Card or Grading card for Telecoms, PASMA, LU/ICI, and Asbestos Awareness.
Job Description:Electrical Site Supervisor / Working Site Supervisor required to work on a project lasting up to 3 years on the London Underground Network. The first project will commence at Tooting Station and will move over the next 3 years to other stations in Zone 1. (Central)
The Electrical Supervisor will have a technical background from Electrical or Telecoms. The Supervisor (SPC) will be supervising a team of 6 operatives.A company Van will be provided subject to a clean driving licence.
For Electrical Supervisors, there will become opportunities to progress into Install Manager which will increase rate and change in role. You must hold a SSMTS for the change in role
*Duties:*
* Installation of CMS including Trunking, Tray and Conduit.
* Installation, Termination and Testing of CAT6A & Fibre Cabling.
* Installation & Termination of Field Antennas and Equipment.
*Shifts and hours:*
* 23:30PM – 04:45AM.
* Sunday – Thursday.
* Working from Approx 00:30 to 4:30am.
