A nursery in Brentford is seeking a Nursery Deputy Manager to support the leadership and management of the setting. The nursery is designed to encourage self-directed play and exploration, with a focus on outdoor activities. The Deputy Manager will supervise staff, ensure compliance with regulations, contribute to curriculum planning, and engage with parents. Job Description:We have a fantastic nursery close to Brentford who are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager to help lead a passionate and caring team.
This modern nursery has been designed to spark curiosity and imagination, and each room is filled with hand-picked resources to encourage self-directed play and discovery. A love for the outdoors is reflected throughout the nursery and the team regularly make visits to local parks and green spots to enjoy fun in the fresh air.
As the Nursery Deputy Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall leadership and management of the setting. You will support the daily operation, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will also contribute to curriculum planning, promote a positive learning environment, and engage with parents to facilitate effective communication. In addition you will maintain high standards of care, safety, and hygiene, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere within the nursery.

Responsibilities:
- Leadership Excellence: Assist the Nursery Manager in leading a team of nursery educators and practitioners, ensuring a supportive and collaborative atmosphere
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to planning and implementing a diverse curriculum, promoting children’s learning and development
- Quality Care: Oversee daily operations, maintaining high standards of care, safety, and hygiene
- Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, ensuring effective communication and involvement in their child’s progress
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- Proven leadership experience, demonstrated in a childcare setting.
- A genuine commitment to creating a positive and enriching experience for young children
- Effective communication with strong interpersonal and communication skills
