A client in Newtown is looking for reliable and skilled multi-drop drivers for 7.5t, Class 2, and Class 1 vehicles due to operational expansion. The role, which is full-time and temp to perm, requires safe and efficient delivery of goods, with working hours from 7.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Pay ranges from £13 to £15.50 per hour, depending on the class of vehicle. Candidates must possess a CPC licence, a Category C licence, and have at least one year of HGV experience. A commitment to customer service and road safety is essential.
*Job Overview*
We are seeking reliable and skilled multi drop 7.5t, Class 2 and Class 1 Drivers to join our client in Newtown who are expanding their operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations.
This is temp to perm full time role, Monday to Friday7.00am-8.00am to approx 5.00pm (45 hours)
7.5t: £13 per hour PAYE
Class 2: £14 per hour PAYE which increase £14.50 on successful completion of of probation.
Class 1: £15.50 per hour PAYE
This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, adherence to road safety regulations, and the ability to handle various types of loads, including pallet deliveries and using a tail lift.
*Responsibilities*
* Load, drive and unload the vehicle
* Maintain accurate and timely vehicle records and tachograph charts as required by the Company and legislation
* Operate a tail lift safely and in accordance with Company standards
* Maintain the vehicle in a clean and safe condition. Report any defects found daily and by manners and appearance of self and vehicle.
* Provide efficient and courteous image for the Company and its services
* Adhere to company service standards, procedures and ways of working
*Requirements*
* CPC licence
* Catergory C Licence
* 1 year HGV experience
