Job Description:Senior Controls Engineer required to join the Programme Management team within a leading manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum products, exhaust management systems and related value-added services based in Clevedon, BS21
- Up to £47,600 per annum, depending on experience
- 37.5 hours per week
- 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays
- Performance related bonus scheme – up to 7.5% of annual salary

About the job
- Writing control and visualization software for new products being developed on site
- Improvement of software development processes and techniques
- Review specifications created by others
- Contributes to the preparation of test documents and advises on appropriate test methodologies.
- Creates supporting documentation for software release and installation.
- Provides technical content for manuals, build notes and service instructions.
- Performs tests and provides expert level support to factory and field issues.
- PLC programming – ladder logic, structured text, functions blocks, data structures
The right candidate
- HND (or equivalent) or degree in a relevant technical discipline, preferably in a controls or software discipline
- Minimum of 5 years working in controls and software within relevant industries
- Prior experience with compiling software, HMI programming using or other high level languages and communications protocols – Modbus, EdCentra XML
- Understanding of P&I Diagrams and electrical schematics
