HGV Class 1 Driver

The roles offer competitive hourly pay ranging from £18 to £22.50, with guaranteed pay for eight hours and flexible shift patterns. Candidates must have held their Class 1 licence for a minimum of three months, possess up to six penalty points, and demonstrate good customer service skills. *Hourly pay between £18 Weekdays £20 Saturdays £22 Sundays and £22.50 Overtime per hour working easy flexible hours.*
*Wide variety of contracts great for relatively new drivers to gain more experience.*
Typically, your shift pattern can start from 3am or 6am or lates 4pm or 7pm. You are always guaranteed to be paid your 8 hours.
Full site induction provided on completion of assessment.

*About You*:
* You will have held your Class 1 for a minimum of 3 months
* Maximum 6 points for minor offences
* 3 months experience essential

* General responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Completing all relevant paperwork for deliveries, trunking, delivering between 1 – 5 drops, delivering a mixture of pallets, totes or cages to large department stores. The stock can vary from everyday household items to clothing to furniture.
* Ensuring daily vehicle checks and defect reports are completed
* Liaising with your line manager to communicate any issues relevant to the work you have been allocated
* Adhering to all relevant road traffic and working time regulations
* Maintaining accurate driving hours, working time and rest period/break records using the appropriate method (Digi/analogue tachograph)
