Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join their Arbroath site, offering flexibility in terms of full-time or part time position. Ideal candidates will be positive, motivated individuals eager to understand their business requirements and effectively manage the Arbroath team. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in providing dedicated and high-quality supervisory expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute dedicated supervisory duties
- Oversee day-to-day site management
- Monitor and enforce Health & Safety protocols, handling H&S administration
- Provide routine maintenance support, reporting and escalating issues as needed
- Create a supportive and positive work environment for staff
- Manage a diverse team, collaborating closely with both trainee and highly experienced body linking operatives
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of the business, processes, and procedures
- Work within tight deadlines to ensure submissions and production targets are met
- Participate in various projects such as site planning and recruitment
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal staff
- Strong leadership skills
- Essential experience in people management
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Patience and perseverance
- Proactive problem-solving attitude
- Textiles industry experience is advantageous but not essential
- People management qualifications are advantageous but not essential
