My client is an established engineering manufacturing firm based in Walsall and commutable from Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth. They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Milling Programmer to join their team.
The Role: CNC Milling Programmer
– Set, operate and program CNC 3-axis Fanuc Milling Machines
– Online program editing and programming from scratch
– Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs
– Working on Fanuc or G code based controls 
– Working from drawings
– Quality control of components
– Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc
– Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
– Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements

Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Milling Programmer
– Experience of Setting, Operating and Programming CNC 3-axis Mills
– CNC Miller on Fanuc controls
– CNC Programming experience essential
– Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances
– Experience in the Defence industry is desirable
– Experience working from engineering drawings
– Able to quality check own parts
– Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
– Motivated and excellent team player

The Package: CNC Milling Programmer
– Starting rate up to £18 per hour dependent on experience
– Day Shifts are Mon – Thurs 07:00-16:30 (4 day week)
