Recruit4staff is representing a leading heating and boiler service company in their search for a Commercial Gas Engineer in the North West of England. The role involves working within commercial and industrial properties to service and install boilers and associated equipment. The company is offering a salary of £38,000 – £42,000 per annum, a 42.5 hour week with overtime available, a company van and fuel card, and 25 days annual leave. The ideal candidate will have excellent understanding of commercial heating systems, experience in commercial gas servicing and repairs, and knowledge of current gas regulations.

For the successful commercial gas engineer, our client is offering:
I. £38,000 – £42,000 per annum
II. 42.5 Hour week Mon – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM plus evening and weekend call-outs covered by a rota

The role – Commercial Gas Engineer:
I The role will involve working within commercial and Industrial properties, servicing and installing boilers and associated equipment.
II Ensure high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet required quality standards, polite and presentable
IV Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically
V Ensure all resident properties are well maintained
What our client is looking for in a Commercial Gas Engineer:
I. Excellent understanding of commercial heating systems
II. Experience in all aspects of commercial gas, servicing, repairs and installs
III. Excellent knowledge of current gas regulations
IV. Comprehensive technical skills to fault find and rectify
V. Good plumbing skills and Full driving license
VI. Basic electrical safety knowledge
VII. Commercial gas qualifications
VIII. Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
